From the early days of Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band in the 1970s, through the present time, there has been one single factor, that certain something, that has ensured the band’s popularity. Is it the beach music? The tropical island fantasies portrayed in Buffett’s songs? A combination of the two? “It’s pure fun,” said Ken Haidaris, concert promoter and restaurant owner of Sunrise Inn in Warren. “It’s going to be a huge tropical party at the Amp!”
